Location: Winchester area (Outdoor Nursery Setting)
Salary: Up to £32,800 per annum (dependent on experience) + £1,000 Welcome Bonus
Hours: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Lead Early Years Educator to join a truly unique outdoor nursery setting in the Winchester area.
Set within a stunning natural environment, this provision offers a completely different approach to early years education, where children spend much of their time outdoors exploring, learning, and developing through hands-on experiences. With a strong focus on curiosity, independence, and creativity, this is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about outdoor learning and child-led development.
As a Lead Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Support the implementation of a child-centred curriculum
- Identify and maximise learning opportunities in everyday routines
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children and their families
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and wellbeing are maintained
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working across Early Years age groups
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for child development and outdoor learning
