We're looking for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer ⚡ to join a prestigious hospital site in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a critical healthcare environment, supporting essential electrical systems that ensure the smooth and safe operation of hospital services.
🔧 What you'll be doing:
✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance ⚡
✔️ Monitoring, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical plant and systems ⚡
✔️ Responding quickly to breakdowns and emergencies, minimising disruption
✔️ Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations
✔️ Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
✔️ Working collaboratively with engineering teams and FM colleagues to ensure continuity of service
👷 What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within FM or building services ⚡
- Previous experience in a hospital or critical environment (highly desirable)
- NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent electrical qualifications
- Ability to provide certificates at interview stage
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills ⚡
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and statutory testing (desirable)
- Flexible and reliable approach to working continental shifts
